Sensing Water Walks

400,00
These guided walks are slow, sensory explorations of waterscapes such as lakes, ponds, canals, and shorelines. Developed through ongoing research into water ecology, environmental stewardship, and participatory sensing practices, they offer an embodied approach to engaging with questions of water access, environmental change, and local responsibility.

Moving at a slow pace, we walk around and in the water, pause, observe, listen, collect, and smell. We look at the body of water not merely as a ressource but as a porous, living system shaped by social and ecological movements.

Participants experience the site through its colors, scents, textures, and subtle transformations over time and space. Simple sensing tools and creative exercises support a shared reading of the landscape, combining scientific observation, personal perception and imagination.

Each walk unfolds differently depending on the location and the group.
Suitable for small groups, institutions, schools, and cultural programs, these workshops create space for reflection and a renewed relationship with local environments.
